Pokemon Home launches next month so you can swap between games

The Pokemon Home cloud service will be rolled out in February 2020.

In Temtem, you’ll come across random NPCs who ask you to do or solve something, including Sanyu and her quiz. In Mokupuni, you’ll find Sanyu in one of the houses off to the side. By speaking with her, she’ll ask for your help with her quiz. Wondering what the answers are? Below, we’ve put together a quick guide with all of the answers to Sanyu’s quiz questions in Temtem!

All answers to Sanyu’s questions in Temtem

All answers to Sanyu's questions in Temtem

NPCs in Temtem will ask you to do a variety of different things, though most of them will be fetch quests. Unlike most NPCs, Sanyu doesn’t need you to take something somewhere else, or tell someone something. Instead, all she needs help with are her quiz questions.

There are 5 questions she’ll ask you in total with some of them being things you should already know, and others that may require a guess or two. If you don’t get all of the questions correctly, you’ll fail and will have to try again. To ensure you get all of the answers correct, we’ve listed them below.

Q: Which one of these is NOT a Nature Temtem?

Q: Follow the series: Spriole, Deendre… and?

Q: What does Vulvir evolve into?

Q: What Temtem is mythologically associated with Giant Banyan?

Q: Who is the protagonist of the traditional Mokupuni fable ‘Feleti and the Jar of Cookies’?

After answering all of the questions correctly, Sanyu will thank you for being a great tutor. As a reward, you’ll earn TC004: Wake Up. Using this Technique Course, you’ll be able to wake up a Temtem while inflicting minimal damage. There are pros and cons, but you may find it useful all the same!

Now that you know all of the answers to Sanyu’s questions in Temtem, be sure to read through some of our other helpful guides including how to beat Rawiri in Temtem , where to get the Coward’s Cloak in Temtem , and whether you can get a house in Temtem .

Here, you'll select your character's body, head, hair, top, bottom, bag and name.

Zadar is the opening area of Temtem and it's where your character lives. You won't spend much time here in the beginning but you can come back to this town throughout your journey. How to Find and Check Temtem Quests

There are a ton of things to do in Temtem as you can see. These quests and side quests offer various goals and rewards. In this section of the Temtem side quests guide, we will discuss how to recognize them and how to find side quests.

When playing Temtem you will notice that all of the quests and side quests are pretty much always marked on the map. They are marked either with a golden icon (main mission) or with a blue exclamation point. Keep in mind that these won’t always be helpful icons as they won’t always tell where the quest or side quest is. However, when you reach a marked location you will usually meet a person, item, or marker that corroborates with the quest’s location. Once you interact with the person, item, or marker, you can trigger the quest or know how to trigger the quest.

You might also notice blue marks on the map sometimes. These are points of interest that coincide with the quests and side quests in Temtem. For example, if you are tasked with getting the Arburian goose, the blue quest mark will either show its location or indicate what must be done next. So, always check your map and keep track of active objectives and markers.

How to Check Quests and Side Quests

Temtem players would have noticed a list of quests on the right side of their screen.  The list keeps you updated on quests and side quests you have activated. There is also a dotted line at the bottom that implies there is a larger list to be seen. However, so far Temtem developers haven’t added a way to expand the list of side quests and quests. This will probably change at some point with a new update. Temtem is still in early access so many changes and improvements are expected.

These are all the side quests that you can complete in TemTem. For more on the game, be sure to check out our TemTem Guides page.

One of the earliest side quests you'll come across in Temtem is the one simply entitled Tourist Guide , in which you take over for an unprepared guide in Arissola and must prove your knowledge of the area to the tourists. We'll show you where to find this quest, and how to best answer the tourists' questions.

How to Complete the Tourist Guide Side Quest

What answers to pick for the arissola tourists.

Cover image for YouTube video

The quest itself takes place entirely in Arissola, the hilltop town that'll likely be the third town you encounter (including the one you start off in). To start it, head to the centre of town where you'll see a group of people and a woman, probably to their North-West, marked on the mini-map by an exclamation point. Speak to her and she'll reveal that she's unable to give the group nearby - the tourists - the guide they need. Offer to take over.

Next, simply go over to the group and talk to any of them to begin the tour. You'll be given several multiple-choice options for what to tell them about the region of Deniz, several of the answers for which will be wrong.

homework quest temtem

While there are several separate opportunities to tell the tourists information, only three of them can be answered incorrectly, the others all offering different, but equally correct answers. We'll go over them here.

  • Welcome ladies and gentlemen...: Any answer works here.
  • It was described for the first time by the ancient poet...: Pasiphae of Turquesa.
  • That majestic massif of red rock you can see towards the south, on the way to Brical de Mar, is called... : Thalassian Cliffs.
  • Excuse me, just a question. What's on the other side of the river?: The town of Turquesa.
  • Oh, one last question. Where do you recommend we visit next? I'm really into history!: Any answer works here.
  • Oh, castles, I love castles! We'll see if it has something on the one in Loch Aduar.: Any answer works here.

Now that this is done, go back to the Tour Operator and she'll give you an umbrella, an item that, when given to a Temtem to hold, reduces the damage they take from water techniques by 20%!

If You Build It

  • View history

If You Build It is a side quest and is begun by talking to Salamasina at the Coral Plaza in Citerior Omninesia . Throughout the quest, the player inspires an architect and finds an absent-minded airship captain. After gathering all the necessary people, the player's empty plot of land becomes a house.

  • 1 Objectives

Objectives [ ]

  • Ask the architect in Windward Fort for help.
  • Get the architect a Vulor for inspiration.
  • Return to Atoll Row.
  • Order the building materials at the Smiths' Guild.
  • Board the Ocra at the Quetzal airship terminal.
  • Find Captain Makamba - ask in the Vumbi Dojo?
  • Find Captain Makamba - try again in Upinzani.
  • Rendezvous with Makamba at Nanga airport.
  • Get back to Salamasina.

After starting the quest by talking to Salamasina at the Coral Plaza after completing the quest On Solid Footing? , the player travels to the Windward Fort in Deniz to talk to the Architect there on the second floor. The player must give her a Vulor , and will not get it back. After giving the Architect the Temtem, they return to talk to Salamasina, and then travel to the Smiths' Guild in Quetzal in Tucma . They talk with the receptionist there, then Manfredo at the Quetzal Airship Terminal . Next, at the Vumbi Dojo in Vumbi in Kisiwa , the player talks to Musa's ADC, and then to Makamba in Upinzani , also in Kisiwa .

After traveling to Kisiwa , Deniz , and Tucma , the player returns to the Airship Terminal in Nanga to talk to Makamba. The player must select the following dialogue options in order to successfully give him directions to Atoll Row .

  • (bot) Atoll Row, in Citerior Omninesia.
  • (mid) ...the Canopath.
  • (mid) Watch out for the Anak Volcano.
  • (bot) Yareni?
  • (top) Shuine?
  • (mid) Salamasina

After, the player talks to Salamasina one final time.

  • Key to your house , a Quest item received during the quest

After the player acquires their plot of land, Salamasina begins the process to get builders to erect the physical home. They can start with the foundations, but with the backlog of the Myrisles Engineering Cooperative she suggests that they commission new building plans immediately. They do not know any architects, so she recommends an Architect friend of hers from Deniz . The player heads to Windward Fort to find her.

The Architect is surveying the old fort desiring to restore it when the player finds her. Although she prefers refurbishing old buildings, she accepts the home as an interesting challenge. However, she needs some inspiration. A Vulor could inspire her as a model for the protection and warmth of fire, of the ancestral, domestic fire of the hearth, but also that sense of coziness, of protection. The player gives her a Vulor in order to kindle her architectural creativity. They sketch out the home, but encourage them to leave so they can focus. She will send them to the construction site once she has finished.

Back at Atoll Row , Salamasina praises the design she has received--daring, but somehow very classic, very Myrislan . She also informs the player that the forewoman has run short on building materials. They normally use volcanic stone bricks quarried from Anak , but because of the recent eruption , the are too hot. She advises the player to seek the most reliable supplier with prime materials, the Smiths' Guild in Quetzal . She has worked with them often, so they will know what is needed specifically. All the player has to do is go and put in an order.

At the Guild, the receptionist informs the player that, luckily, they got a big order from Atoll Row just before their recent supply interruptions , making it their priority. The first batches are ready to ship out in the Ocra, a freighter ship sailed by Captain Makamba, so the player heads to the Quetzal Airship Terminal to find them.

Sailor first class Manfredo tells them the Ocra is ready to depart with a shipload of building materials for Atoll Row, but the captain's absense delays their departure. Last he had heard Captain Makamba was taking time off in Vumbi in Kisiwa , visiting his parents. The player goes to find him.

At the Vumbi Dojo , Musa's ADC tells that Makamba came to volunteer as soon as he heard what was happening in Kisiwa . He went with his the team that was supposed to reinforce Upinzani , but communications have been cut off. Makamba has lost track of time since fighting in the war, but he tells them he will meet them at Nanga . There, he gets directions of where to go from the player.

Salamasina then gives the player the key to their new home and congratulations them for their new house .

After talking to Tihani on the shoreline, the player receives an Airship ticket which gives them access to fly to Omninesia. However, just as the player talks to Agustín to board, Max interrupts and challenges the player to a duel. The player has only one attempt, but does not need to win to progress.

Story [ edit ]

The story starts with the player sleeping in after Character Creation, but their step-mother, Aina, wakes them up. After congratulating the forgetful player for their Apprentice's Eve, she gifts them a Tempedia. The Apprentice's Eve is the acknowledgement that the player already knows all the basic theory about Temtem, and can now safely handle one for their very own. Outside home, the player encounters a large gathering of everyone from Zadar celebrating their Eve. Max shows up and mentions it's their Apprentice's Eve too. The Professor decides to guide both Max and the player to the Accademia in Briçal de Mar, but needs to drop by his lab first.

homework quest temtem

After fighting through the Prasine Coast, the player reaches Briçal de Mar, where they catch up with Max, Professor Konstantinos, and the Dojo Master of Arissola Sophia. She takes the two apprentices off the professor's hands so he can catch his flight to Arbury from Arissola. Sophia gives a tour of the town, including Luisouvenirs, Indigo Lake , the Accademia , the Local Temporium , the Docks, and the entrance to the Thalassian Cliffs. After the tour, she returns to her Dojo in Arissola, and leaves the two to study at the Accademia.

The player studies at the school before showing off their tamer skills at Luisouvenirs. A captured wild Temtem stands as the proof of their capabilities as a tamer, and so Luis gifts the player the Temessence Phial. With this helpful equipment, the player has the tools required to scale the Thalassian Cliffs and head towards Arissola. However, their ambitions at the Dojo has an unforseen delay; Sophia has gone missing. The doorman for the Dojo informs the player that she was supposedly at the Windward Fort, but had not returned for a perilously long time. The player courageously sets out to find her.

While heading north through the Gifted Bridges, the player encounters locals complaining of a rude Arburian woman, bossing locals around and demanding superiority. As the player enters the Fort, they discover panicked tourists and an invasion of a mysterious group who call themselves Clan Belsoto. Their mysterious purpose evades the player, but as the fight downward, they eventually find Sophia locked up in a dungeon cell at the bottom. Only a woman named Lady Lottie at the top has the key to set her free.

Goon after goon stand between the bottom floor and the top, but finally the player emerges and finds the Lady and some of her henchmen searching for some kind of treasure. She quotes the Romance of the Last Sheikh . After defeating her, kicking her out of the Fort, the player retrieves the Fort Windward key and frees Sophia.

Back at her Dojo, the player challenges and defeats Sophia, impressing her with their skills. She encourages the player to continue honing their skills by fighting a man named Rawiri at the Mokupuni Dojo on the island Omninesia. So, westward to the Airship Terminal , the player encounters Adia Turay , captain of the Narwhal, who has no room for the player to board her ship. However, she concedes to the player's wishes to join, so long as they run an errand for her: surfing to Turquesa and finding Tihani.

Tihani, a guest of the Narwhal, delays the ship's departure with her absence, ans to the player surfs to Turquesa on the Sillaro River to fetch her. However, she decides she does not want to leave. In order to thank the player for coming all the way down, she gifts them the Airship ticket, and with it, access to Omninesia via the Narwhal.

Back through Sillaro River and up the Thalassian Cliffs, Agustín receives the ticket from the player and invites them aboard, just as Max races up to the player and challenges them to a Temtem match to prove their superiority. This time, Max has more Temtem than just Oree. After the match, the player sails onward, healing their Temtem on the Narwhal.
