The aim of the Mathematics Research Institute (MRI) is to promote research interactions in the mathematical sciences among Ohio State faculty and researchers worldwide. This is achieved through support of weekly seminars, distinguished visitors program, special years and conferences, and by support of travel and research programs of OSU faculty.
There are research opportunities, working groups, REU's and conferences available for undergraduate research in the Mathematics Department.
Here is a list of our Ph.D dissertations .
The Mathematical Biosciences Institute (MBI) catalyzes interactions between the biological, medical, and mathematical sciences through vigorous programs of research and education. Emphasis year programs, current topics workshops, educational programs, and sponsored research projects are the structure under which these goals are achieved.
Most of the research in this department is involved with several of the organizations found in the Math Links section.
